Today was the day! Today they got the results from all the test to see if they could find any cancer left in Lisa's body. Today God showed his answer to all the prayers. Today Lisa is cancer free. Today is a good day!
Gail and Lisa - I've been following. Brandy Denham told me Lisa was sick and RheeAnne confirmed it over the summer. Gail it's been about 10 years since I've seen/talked with you - but we're still family in Christ. I'm thrilled at the good news. Lisa, know and understand that people you don't even know are lifting you up to the Lord; your strength and faith is a wonderful testament and your bravery inspiring. Blessings - Wendy (Werner) Rogers
I read about your recovery in the Sunday paper. Thank you for posting that weonderful news. I was your kindergarten teacher at Brush College ever so briefly....my entire church was praying for you. I'm sooooo thrilled with your TREMENDOUS news. Loni Espinoza told me just today about your blog, or I would have been following your progress much sooner. CONGRATULATIONS! You will stay in our prayers.... Tell Kyle Hi (I was his kindergarten teacher for a whole school year)
Welcome to Lisa's blog spot! We hope this site is a way for all family and friends to stay connected to Lisa while she is fighting cancer at Doernbecher and at home.
Lisa especially loves horses, although she has a love for all animals. Her pets at home include a dog, a cat, a chicken and until recently she also had a goat. Lisa and her mom walk down the street and "borrow" the neighbor's horses on a regular basis. She loves to hang out with her friends by jumping on the trampoline and riding quads, or just a good game of monopoly. Her favorite sport is volleyball. Lisa's faith in God is strong and she is relying on Him to get her through this hard time.
YAHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs for Lisa from the Fosters!
Was there any doubt?? :) Congrats. Take time to heal your body and your soul. You've earned it.
ReplyDeleteAMEN to our prayers!
