Lisa just entered the surgery room at 11:30. I saw her last night and she seemed ready to get this behind her. She looked good and was able to hang out with Connor for awhile. She said that she went to school on Mon. but didn't go the last two days to make sure that she stayed healthy and strong for the surgery. It wears her out to spend the day at school.
Welcome to Lisa's blog spot! We hope this site is a way for all family and friends to stay connected to Lisa while she is fighting cancer at Doernbecher and at home.
Lisa especially loves horses, although she has a love for all animals. Her pets at home include a dog, a cat, a chicken and until recently she also had a goat. Lisa and her mom walk down the street and "borrow" the neighbor's horses on a regular basis. She loves to hang out with her friends by jumping on the trampoline and riding quads, or just a good game of monopoly. Her favorite sport is volleyball. Lisa's faith in God is strong and she is relying on Him to get her through this hard time.
we're praying for you lisa, and for the success of your surgery! we are anxiously awaiting news. we love you.
